Improving Greater Springfield Communities, Together.
Many of our projects—such as the founding of the Springfield Ronald McDonald House and our early partnership with the Springfield Day Nursery (now Square One)—continue to have a lasting impact on the region today.
For more than a century, the Junior League of Greater Springfield has been a driving force for positive change in Western Massachusetts. As a nonprofit organization of women leaders, we are dedicated to promoting voluntarism, developing civic leadership, and improving our community through the effective action of trained volunteers.
Since our founding, JLGS members have contributed over one million dollars and countless volunteer hours to initiatives that strengthen families, support women and children, and expand access to health and education.
Big ideas, real impact.
Our commitment extends beyond service to include financial stewardship and collaboration. Through fundraising events and community partnerships, JLGS mobilizes the resources needed to sustain vital programs and create new opportunities for those we serve. Together, we’re empowering the next generation of women civic leaders and building a stronger, more equitable Greater Springfield.
